Gradients in Various Mediums and Lines

I proceeded with gradients and  blending, as well as working with different mediums and seeing what type of lines you could create with graphite, charcoal of the vine and compressed variety, and colored pencils. Compressed charcoal gradients are amazing to master, too. 

 

Drawing Fundamentals and the Progression of work through time

I began my Drawing Fundamentals working on elipses using my whole arm to make the shapes instead of just my hand and wrist. It is amazing how fluid the cicles and elipses could get while making large ones using your whole body.

Drawing of rectangles and parallelograms was a good study and practice as well. You can see shapes and patterns almost wanting to form from the placement of the shapes compared to one another.
